Nursemate is a colostrum, protein and vitamin blend. We give this to our puppies starting at birth for the first few days, as directed on packaging.

This heating pad is perfect for 3x3 or 4x4 whelping boxes. It is big enough that the puppies can get to it easily and the moms can get off of it if they get too warm.

Unwaxed, unflavored dental floss is a great tie off for umbilical cords. It must be both unwaxed and unflavored or it will not stay on correctly.

Bulb syringes make an excellent nasal aspirator. They can be used to clear the airways and nasal passages at birth and to clear the nasal passage in the case of aspiration when nursing.

When separating mom and puppies for any reason, a collapsible basket like this one is easy to store, as it folds down, and will keep the puppies safe and warm together.

These collars are great to keep track of which puppy is which, especially in larger litters.
